Abstract

Investigation on the problem of the Jordan River diversion by Israel and its Arab neighbors. For Israel, shortage of water means a death sentence. Therefore the Israelis use the Tiberius Lake to irrigate the Negev. But the Tiberius lake is fed by the waters of the Jordan river, which is fed by four rivers: The Hasbani, born in Lebanon, The Yarmuck in Jordan and the third The Banias, that flows from the ground at 800 meters, on the Syrian side. Only the fourth river The Dan has its source in Israel.
