Abstract

Scientists are warning against pollution in the Mediterranean. It is more exposed than the other seas or oceans. Intensive fishing to supply the canning industry and the multiplication of industrial zones on its shores threaten the survival of many species. According to Alain Bombard, if nothing is done, the Mediterranean will become a dead sea. Pollution robs the sea of oxygen. The government has to take action and make arrangements internationally..
