Abstract

Magazine on the integration of the repatriated from Algeria in Montpellier, showing how the city has absorbed this new population (representing a quarter of all Languedoc Roussillon returnees), and especially how they inserted themselves in the economic and social development. Through comments and interviews of several repatriated from different sectors and local officials, it is clear that beyond the failures and successes of each of them, their contribution to the city was undeniable. So, integration, yes, but not complete… The document concludes on an intensely pathetic note when it comes to focus on the ‘human aspect’ of this integration.
