This trip takes us to the Wadi Rum, also called Wadi Al Qamar or the moon valley. It is known for its beauty, its mountains and its natural parks with their fauna and flora. The inhabitants of the desert, especially those of Rum, keep their traditional way of life, in spite of the introduction of tourism and modernity . Wadi Rum contains the biggest number of carved stones and rocks. Ancient writings were dug on rocks, likely by caravaneers, during their journeys between the Arabian Penensula and Petra. When observing these writings, we notice that the local inhabitants or the caravaneers could read and write, and the names show that they were Arabs.Type
