Abstract

Jordan is classified among the countries lacking water sources.This is due to the nature of its disparate geography with its mountains and desert. Jordan relies entirely on rainfall which is decreasing because of the climate change. The national effort in providing safe water for drinking and irrigation is everybody's responsibility . The program introduces these efforts concerning the protection of water sources, the best use of rain water storage and, the reduction of water wastage whether in houses, factories or big plants. All these efforts and agreements should make citizens and farmers aware of the importance of water and the use of modern techniques to avoid the loss of large amounts of it.
