Abstract

Al Hussein Association for the Care of the Disabled was founded in the period of the late King Hussein Bin Talal, in 1984. It provides psychological, health and rehabilitation care for children with various disabilities. The association was scrutinized by his Majesty King Abdullah II himself, providing it with trained supervisors and the necessary equipment. It is under the continuous supervision of the Hashemite fund and Her Royal Highness Princess Besma Bint Talal, Chairperson of the Assembly Secretariat. This association was founded thanks to a gift by the Sultan Qabus Bin Said, and the contribution of big national institutions of Jordan . Today, this association is equipped with special facilities and services.
