Abstract

To bring about a sustainable development in the Jordanian desert, researches and studies are carried out, then submitted to decision makers who create projects to exploit the infrastructure of the desert environment. Projects in agriculture and desert researches are set in Safawi and, in Eastern and Northern desert. They are carried out by the centre for research and development. Many mineral resources were discovered, and studies of ground layers, sand, rocks, especially basalt rock were carried out by experts.
