Abstract

Magazine specialized in agriculture. This edition is about bee keeping and honey production in the north of the Kingdom. Interviews with farmers who have trained to become producers of this important product. The programme introduces the different types of bees in the Arab world and the features of each type, and gives a detailed explanation on bee products, pests and disease that affect honey bees. Farmers focus on the importance of the relation with the agricultural activities to benefit from the result of the scientific research in agriculture. Bee keeping in Jordan is as old as the history of the region.
