Abstract

The program is about contemporary literary figures in Jordan. This episode deals with the life of Dr Kamil Al Asli who becomes director of the Jordanian University’s Library. He is interested in all works about libraries and books Dr Kamil Al Asli has a great interest in his hometown Jerusalem, its political challenges and its libraries which, underwent a period of neglect, therefore Dr Kamil Al Asli’s scups that his role is to preserve them. The episode presents Dr Asli’s life from his birth till he obtained his degrees. Presentation of his works, his historical, intellectual and literary writings and the books and all documents at the Jordanian University’s library.
