Abstract

The Jordan Valley authorities representing the government have found alternatives to stabilize the desert populatons. The latter that used to depend on pastures and livestock have been directed to agriculture and have received assistance and training to work in agriculture. The objective is to : - increase the green and cultivated area. - increase the agricultural production - stabilize the desert populations by supplying them with the amenities and services related to education, health and other facilities.
