Abstract

This episode highlights “El Akhlaa Association”, founded in 1984 to improve women’s conditions and raise their standard of living and their economic status. To reach this goal, a factory was built, with the help of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, in the city of Madaba, to market olive oil and cheese. The episode also talks about another Association for the blind in Deir - Alla, in the Jordan Valley, called “sight for the blind ”, founded in 2005. It provides support for blind children and seeks to integrate the disabled and let them more self-confident. There are several projects, mainly, training in manufacturing straw and its marketing. The profit is shared among the employees and the members of the Association.
