2001Abstract
The report is about an resident of Irbid, Mr Mouflih Echarman. For fifteen years, this artist has used remnant wood, especially from olive trees, to make masterworks that show his talent in carving. In order to develop this art, Mr Echarman trained many young girls and boys, in his workshop, where he has introduced the necessary machines. His works are sold in bazaars to Jordanian and foreign tourists. These wooden articrafts are also used to decorate some pottery items. So, art was able to gather timber and clay and offer wonderful objets, such as scale models of : Petra, El Qods as well as verses of the Quran.Type
