Abstract

Jordan is grated with a religious and tourist standing whichattracts the world's attention. The various vestiges testify that great civilizations and great peoples settled in Jordan because of its moderate climate and its strategic location; between the East and the West. We can find Romans vestiges such as : amphitheaters, terraces, columns and arcs in Jerash and Ajloun. Petra testifies the power and determination of the Arab men to carve stones and build such a great kingdom. Aqaba was planned and equipped to be a tourist resort where tourists can enjoy the Red Sea water and practise water sports. In the North of Jordan, visitors can enjoy the quietness of the desert and recreation in Wadi Rum, the tourist resort of El Azraq, the mineral and thermal waters and the cultural festivals.
