Abstract

Medical Tourism is one of the most important aspects of tourists’ attractions in Jordan. Many factors and data make Jordan a destination for medical tourism: the Dead Sea with its good climate, high temperatures, mineral waters. The numerous sources of water such as:TheJordan River. Streams and waterfalls which flow in the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is a touristic destination is terms of medical tourism and also a religious one. It is near the Dead Sea in Wadi Kharrar that Jesus Christ was baptized. In addition to that , there are shrines of saints and Muslim leaders in the days of Islamic Conquests. In the surrounding regions, there are farms, gardens and Orchards. Because of the presence of many sorts of salt, the Dead Sea is a rich source of national income, factories have been built there such as:the salt factory and the Potash one.
