Abstract

This episode is about people who live in the desert, their social life, their unity within the family such as in periods of harvest when all the family and the neighbors help to do the work. There are hours of recreation when they play music (Rababa), drink Arabic coffee and invite a great number of relatives to participate in the preparation of food. On special occasions, like weddings, they all help each other, either by offering gifts, money, or work. We get to know about their generosity, their rural cooperation and solidarity.
