Abstract

Special program which talks about the 20 years of the establishment of a center for Muslim Young Girls Association for special education and the role of princess Tarwat EL Hassan who took care of the disabled and the challenges to establish a center for training young girls. The center is in the South of Amman, it was built in 1974. Many of these students are taught there thanks to the efforts made by the educators who give importance to the educational, psychological and social conditions of the disabled. The different arts taught in the centre are: drawing, ceramics as well as fine arts. They also learn reading, writing, arithmetic and self-reliance. Presentation of the center, there are a carpentry centre and playgrounds. The center teaches the disabled how to become active and productive within the community and how to integrate society.
