Abstract

A documentary which talks about Salah-Eddine’s pulpit which was burned in 1969 by Jewish extremists in the Aqsa Mosque .People in Jerusalem have attempted to extinguish the fire . A historical overview is given on the historical pulpit which remained in Aleppo, Syria for 20 years then has been moved to Jerusalem on 27th Rajab in the year 853AH when Salah -eddine arrived to Jerusalem, but it was burnt. The rebuilding of Al Aqsa Mosque started during the region of his Majesty the late King Hussein BenTalal, he rebuilt the pulpit and moved it to Al Aqsa Mosque to have a distinctive place. The Al Balqa Applied University had a major role in the compilation of the pulpit's pieces with the help of engineers, technicians, architects and skilled workers who used beech ebony wood to do so. The pulpit found its usual place in 2007 .
