Abstract

A documentary which presents Zeus temple in Jerash. It is a temple which dates back to the Roman civilization. Jerash has got remains and monuments from many civilizations: Roman, Greek and Byzantine. The Zeus Temple is located on the top of the plateau in the ancient city dating back to the year 80 BC. The Temple has been modified after 20 AD: the crowns, the columns, the Mihrab, the statue of the God Zeus ( A God of that time). In the eighties of the last century, restoration works have been made with the cooporation of French specialists.
