Abstract

After the Great Arab Revolt, the Arabs, now free,gather around King Abdullah I in 1920 in Maan. After traveling by train to Amman, the Hashemite king is welcomed by the people of Jordan Taking charge of the country, he moves into Raghadan Palace, built in 1926.   A chapter of political glory and history of Amman and other Jordanian cities begins. Raghadan Palace was built to last , near the Roman amphitheater and the Umayyad palace in the citadel of Jabal al Qalaa. This program invites us to discover the history of the palace and political events that occurred during the reign of Jordan kings : King Abdullah first, King Talal, Hussein, the builder and Abdullah II
