The village of Darar is located in the area of the Valleys, about 60 km from Amman. One can reach it either from Salt or from Irbid. The village includes the mausoleums of Darar Bin Al Azwar (after whom the village was named) , Abu Ubeida Amer Bin El Jarrah and of some companions who died during the Islamic conquests. The inhabitants of Darar are mainly farmers , they grow potatoes, tomatoes, onions , bananas and citrus fruit. Darar provides the kingdom markets with fruit and vegetables and part of these products are exported.Type
