Abstract

The episode describes the village of Ain Arik located some kilometers from the city of Ramallah. The focus is on what the village is known for, its abundant water springs which make it a fertile soil for agriculture. The program shows the development that occurred in the village. It shifted from a camp for Palestinians after 48 to a village known for its religious tolerance and special relations between Muslims and Christians. The episode reminds us of the cause of the village's name; it is " Erak" which means the constant fight that occured between the shepherds on the plain near the village.
