Abstract

This episode from the program ' From Jerusalem ', presents the walls of Jerusalem, their design and history. The colonial authorities tried repeatedly to forge landmarks on the walls of Jerusalem under the pretext of restoring them. The program hosts Mr Omar Jamel, a specialist in Jerusalem 's architecture who explains the risks which menace the Arab identity of the city as Israel is trying to erase the signs of that identity through a studied plan; Ibrahim El Fenny adds that Israel plans to occupy Jerusalem and imposes a 'fait accompli ' on Palestinians and on the Arab world . Ibrahim Shows how Israel forges history through the old city's monuments in Jerusalem .
