Abstract

The film is about the history of Jericho, considered to be the first town in the world and the presence of the primitive man in it. The programme also evokes the task of archaeologists to discover the secrets of Jericho. The film introduces Tel Assoultane in Jericho throughout history and the main steps of the exploration missions since 1997. The Palestinian and Italian joint mission as well as other European missions explored Tel Assoultane. The old constructions and facilities date back to more than 400 years.
