The speaker presents the history of Porto Torres, which formerly was called Turris, a center located along the north coast of Sardinia, from the Middle Ages when it was a fortress and trading station of the republic of Pisa, then to become from a seaside and commercial village , a peasant country. We can observe views of the cathedral in the Romanesque style of the twelfth century, dedicated to San Gavino, and views of Porto Torres, with people in the street and at work. Port workers, fishermen in the country and in the mines, women in the factory packaging sardines are also interviewed . PP baskets full of fish and some details machinery factory.Type
