Abstract

Escapade on the island of Elba in the company of Licia Colo who evokes the culture, tradition, folklore and the natural beauties of the island. In the capital, Portoferraio, one still feels the presence of Napoleon Bonaparte who was exiled there in 1814. On the night of February 26, 1815, while a double took his place at the theater, the Emperor embarked for France. Visit of the Church of Mercy who retains memories of Napoleon, and Fort Falcone. The east coast is favorable for nesting herring gulls and wild goats on the rocky shore. Views of the villages of Capoliveri, Marciana Marina and Mount Capanne.
