Abstract

Commentary on the morphological and hydrographic aspects of the region near the further delta of the Po river, near Rovigo and on the daily life of the Baroni brothers, two fishermen of the village of Santa Giulia. Views of the their mussels breeding and of the groves of reeds on the Po banks. Interview with Graziano Penini, president of the Cooperative of the Santa Giulia Fishermen. Old footages and photographs, even in B/W, showing the flooding of Porto Tolle in 1966 : city streets sunken by the river, farmers working at the muddy fields after the inundation.
