Abstract

Documentary on the elderly bagpipers of Cannalonga (Salerno). Commentary and interviews on the making of a bagpipe made of goat skin. Bagpipers talking about the “ciaramella”, telling stories of their youth, talking about the importance of handing down to their children and grandchildren their knowledge. Bagpipers playing the bagpipes and the ciaramelles while old ladies dance in traditional dresses.
