Roberto Olla presents from Annecy the 150th anniversary of the annexation of Savoy and Nice to France in 1860. Recall of the historical context and significance of Savoy in the history of the Italian unity. Visit of the graves of King Umberto II and his wife Marie-José in the abbey Hautecombe. Views of the abbey and castle-Thorens Glières where Napoleon III met Cavour secretly in 1860 to discuss the annexation of Savoy to France. Interviews with historians on the subject. Excerpts from a concert by the Orchestra of des Pays de Savoie. Interview with a musician.
