Abstract

Discovery of the art of wood-cutter in the Val di Fiemme, in the Trentino. We follow a group of woodcutters in the forest and witness the cutting of trees. Views of the pine forest of Val di Fiemme, the cascade of Cavalese, of the Avisio River. Exterior and interior of the old sawmill Cavalese, now a museum. Interior of a modern factory in which tree trunks are worked.
