Abstract

Roberto Olla presents the commemoration of the Carnation Revolution of 25 April 1974 which brought down the Caetano dictatorship in Portugal. Interviews of Soares Medeiros, Lourenco, Salome De Carvalho Vieira who evoke their memories and their participation in the Revolution. Sequence with the dictator Caetano. Images of clashes in the streets during the Revolution; a march for the rights to the democratic process and the empowerment of women. Scenes of everyday life on the streets and the great poverty of the countryside at the time.
