Documentary about the fossils of the Cretaceous (110 to 105 million years) found in the mountains of Matese, on the border between Campania and Molise in the paleontology park of Cavere, and in Pietraroja. It also refers to the discovery of fossilized dinosaur Samniticus Scipionyx, the only one which was preserved in Italy with a perfect fossilization of the organs. Visit the Museum of PaleoLab in Pietraroja and presentation of the organization of tours through the canyon of Caccaviola and Quirino to see the fauna of the region. Interview with Cristiano Dal Sasso, a paleontologist at the Natural History Museum of Milan, and interview with Giovan Giuseppe Valente, stonemason, on the work of the limestone in the area of Cusano Mutri.Type
