Abstract

Tinmel's mosque was built in 1153 by Abdel Moumen , the founder of the Almouhad dynasty , in memory of Mahdi Ibn Toumart . Being conscious of the great interest that the site represents to the inhabitants of Tinmel, the place it has in the national, cultural heritage, the Moroccan responsibles have decided to proceed to the restoration of this historical monument .
