Abstract

Escapade in the region of Asilah to discover ancient civilizations that have left an priceless historical heritage. In northern Morocco and 40 km from Tangiers, Asilah city faces the Atlantic Ocean. Agriculture, trade and fishing are its main economic activities. Asilah is known as a place of pilgrimage for artists, thinkers and writers. The history of this city dates back to the Carthaginian and Roman times, when the city was called Zilis. Visit to the Cromlech of M'Zoura, an archaeological site 20 km from Asilah which gathers many dolmens. This episode ends with the visit organized by the team Faouzi Vision - specialized in caving - to one of the most famous caves in legends: the pigeons cave .
