Abstract

This episode is a summary of enormous efforts, praiseworthy sacrifices that women have provided and their strong participation in all the wars that Morocco has known to defend the cause for freedom and a peaceful life. In addition to their natural role as mothers, rural women have participated in the development and progress of their country in all fields: economic, social, religious and cultural. They have known how to organize their daily life in order to meet both the requirements of their homes and of their work in the fields. Women are often regarded as inferior to men. This episode demonstrates the opposite, revealing the will to survive, the know-how of women in all activities linked with their daily life and their maternal activities .
