Abstract

Discovery of Ali Ferran 's village, located around Chefchaouen in northern Morocco. This village has always had as reference the expertise of its people in the field of pottery, a craft which is exercised mostly by women . we will discover the daily life of women in Ali Ferran's village while visiting a family . They describe all the steps needed to make various pottery objects . Can these women transmit this ancestral heritage to future generations? can this job resist the advent of the industrial technology?
