After leaving the village of Aouint Ait Oussa towards Smara, the caravan of Michel Vieuchange passed next to a small village called Ayoun Draa or Ayoun Ighmman. Throughout his journey, Michael Vieuchange could not speak to the people, and thereby could not access to villages. That's why we start to explore this village that hides so many secrets. All residents of Ayoun Ighmman know a story about water. Behind all sources of water hide old legends explaining their miraculous power. In 1936, the French colonialism settled in those distant lands and built a military barrack to facilitate the control of these southern territories.Type
