Abstract

The architecture in Marrakesh dates back to more than a thousand years in history. The Riyadh is considered as a distinctive style of this original architecture. This prgram is about the Riyadh’s reality, its role in the city of Marrakesh and the Phenomenon of acquisition and purchase of these Riyadhs by foreigners who convert them into restaurants and guest houses without any regard to their historical and cultural value. A law which would codify this field is totally inexistant.
