Kanka means big drum in the Amazigh language. It is a symbol of the Guineans who settled in the region of Souss in Morocco a long time ago. The celebration of kanka is cousidered as an extension of the African culture in Morocco, its celebration has begun from the date of independence. kanka is celebrated in the following cities. Taroudanet, Agadir, Casablanca and Rabat.
