Report from the districts of the antique city of Fes, on the manufacturing and marketing of the traditional Moroccan shoe called "el belgha". This old craft is still practiced in various cities of Morocco, particularly in Fes. The business of these shoes flourish with the arrival of religious or social events (weddings, circumcision ceremonies, etc..). In spite of the hard competition of modern industries, the craftsmen try to innovate so as to keep pace with fashion and modern life requirements.Type
