The rivet is considered as one of the oldest techiques discovered by Moroccans, who used it to make traditional clothes and furniture. This technique requires a good knowledge of arithmetic so as to respect the style and decoration wanted by the customer. In order to cope with modernity, new techniques and machines have been introduced in this craft. This resulted in a mixture of western an eastern forms with Moroccan touches, to satisfy the local and foreign markets.Type
