Abstract

To preserve the environment and face the energy problem, Morocco, which produces neither oil nor gas, relies on its natural resources to produce clean renewable alternative energies, including wind energy. This episode deals with the wind station of El Koudia el Beida, in the north of Morocco. This region was chosen because it is windy along the year. The project has been completed by the Ministry of Energy and Minerals with the participation of the United Nations Development Program and the Centre for Renewable Energies.
