Abstract

On the occasion of the closing of the Euro-Mediterranean statistical cooperation program, launched three years ago, the high commission for planning organized a symposium to assess the achievements of the national statistical system. This system has been developed in partnership with the European Union to produce figures according to the international standards and improve statistical studies, either economic or social, in the service of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership. This symposium was chaired by both Ahmed Halimi El Eulmi, High Commissioner and Thierry Bakou, Head of the European Program.
