Abstract

Experts and researchers in the field of renewable energies agree that Morocco has capabilities in wind, solar and hydroelectric energy. This enables it to become a transit for energy exchange between Africa, Europe and the Middle-East. To reach these objectives, Morocco engaged in the construction of many wind stations in the North, as well as solar ones in the South and the South-East. These stations are to start work in 2018, they will represent 38% of energy which will reduce imports and the pouring of approximately 9 million tons of carbone dioxide a year.
