Abstract

This documentary presents a type of symphonic music common in Tunisia. It illustrates its artistic interest, its value and how it is highlighted by the musicians and public. In Tunisia, composers of symphonic music, work on its history and try to learn and transmit it. In addition to some passages of music, this documentary presents the different procedures applied in order to preserve this sort of music, not only in Tunisia but also in the Arab world. Some street interviews to establish the knowledge of this symphonic music through the public. In the end of the presentation: - members of the Tunisian symphonic orchestra - evocation of the numerous difficulties they have to face to continue to exist - Some impressions of the audience present for a performance
