Abstract

The tunisian jewellery dates back to the Punic era. It has been enriched by the Romans, the Byzantines, the Arabs, the Turks and the Andalusians to meet the changing needs of people. Jewels presented in the film: Errihana; a necklace with flat golden links, Essakhab; a gold and silver necklace, anklets and clamps used to hold the veil. These traditional models are being replaced by more modern ones.
