Abstract

The Esteve chemical company was established in 1929 in Celra (Girona), when Doctor Esteve set up the company’s first laboratory. In 1965, the company began developing projects that have since led them to be the leading group in the chemical industry in Spain. Last year alone they earned € 844 million. A third of this income is from the export of their products to the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
