Abstract

A light entertainment program with a humorous touch that turns up curiosities of the Catalan language spoken on the street. The program presenter, the “word hunter”, travels to different spots in Catalan speaking territories, exploring the variations of the language and the origins of commonly, used words. The presenter talks to men and women on the street and, from time to time, linguists and other experts on the subject offer their insight. This program is on the Fallas of Valencia and its particular terminology.
